A 10-year-old boy from the region who was reported missing has been located.
Jaiyden Abear, of Albany, had last been seen at around 1 p.m. Monday, April 8, in the area of Academy Road and Helderberg Avenue, according to Albany Police.
On Tuesday evening, April 9, police announced that Jaiyden was located and is safe.

A 15-year-old boy from the region who was missing for two days has been found.
Adrian MacDuff, of Albany, had last been seen at around 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, near the Neil Hellman School on Academy Road.
On Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 13, Albany Police announced that the boy had been located and is safe.

Woman From Region, Age 21, Goes Missing: 'We Are Concerned For Her Safety,' Police Say
A 21-year-old New York woman has been missing for three days and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her.
Police announced on Saturday, Nov. 25 that it is currently attempting to locate Azalea Gardner who was last seen on Wednesday, Nov. 22 in Albany at around 4 p.m. in the area of Morton Avenue and South Pearl Street.
Gardner 5-foot-2, 125 pounds with blue eyes and currently has pink hair.

ER Worker Steals Cancer Patient's Ring At Hospital In Region, Police Say
An emergency room employee is accused of stealing a cancer patient’s ring as the woman slept at a hospital in the region.
Albany County resident Caitlin Mullaney, age 36, of Slingerlands, was arrested Friday, Aug. 4, on suspicion of grand larceny.
According to Albany Police, Mullaney was working as a patient care technician at Albany Medical Center Hospital on Monday, July 17, when she approached a 75-year-old female patient who was sleeping on a stretcher.
Moments later, she removed the woman’s ring and took it, police said.

Three men are dead following a week of gun violence in the region.
Albany Police officers were called at around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, June 25, with reports of a shooting near Myrtle Avenue and Philip Street, one block east of the governor’s mansion.
When emergency crews arrived, they found 28-year-old Deandre Morrison, of Albany, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.

Albany resident Aubrey Congeni, age 15, was last seen at around 8:15 p.m. Saturday, June 3, near Sherman Street and Henry Johnson Boulevard in Albany.
In a statement Monday, June 5, the Albany Police Department said it was concerned for the girl’s safety.
Congeni is described as a white female, approximately 5-feet-4-inches tall and 160 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes.
