A man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on a busy roadway in the region. It happened in Dutchess County at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, on Route 44 near Traver Road in Pleasant Valley. An 11th-grade male student at a Hudson Valley high school was nabbed with a BB gun in his backpack. The incident occurred in Ulster County at Rondout Valley High School in Accord around noon on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
