Two Women Caught Mailbox Fishing On Long Island, Police Say Two women were caught red-handed mailbox fishing on Long Island, police said. The incident that led to the arrests happened on Wednesday, Dec. 25 at 2:20 a.m. in Atlantic Beach. According to Nassau County Police detectives, a Fourth Precinct officer while on patrol observed Yoli Gomez Osoria, 27, of the Bronx, standing in front of the post office located at 2009 Park St. retrieving an object from inside a metal mailbox.
