Covid-19: Former Lirr Acting President Raymond Kenny, Of Lindenhurst, Dies Former Long Island Rail Road Acting President Raymond P. Kenny, NJ Transit's vice president and general manager, died of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) related complications, the agency said Saturday, April 18. The Lindenhurst resident was 69. Kenny helmed NJ Transit's rail operations since January 2019.
