Long Island Woman Nabbed After Hitting Two Juveniles, Leaving Scene, Police Say A Long Island woman who allegedly hit two juveniles and then fled the scene has been arrested by police. The crash took place around 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, in Seafood when the two juveniles, ages 12 and 8 were attempting to cross Washington Avenue in Seaford, said the Nassau County Police. According to police, the two children were attempting to cross eastbound on Washington Avenue in the vicinity of Pittsburgh Avenue. The 50-year-old cab driver was hired by an unknown suspect to take him to Stop & Shop on Merrick Road in Seaford at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27. Former Employee Accused Of Burglarizing Long Island Pizzeria A Nassau County man is in custody after being arrested for burglarizing a popular pizzeria in Seaford where he used to work, police said. Merrick resident Richard Genoski, 29, was arrested for a burglary at Tarallo Pizzeria on Washington Avenue at approximately 9:36 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. Police said that while on patrol, officers spotted Genoski entering the locked rear door of the restaurant. He was later seen leaving the building, at which point he was stopped by the officers.
