A Long Island school district is cautioning parents and the community to be aware of a man who allegedly approached a student while exposing himself to her near a busy intersection. The Central Islip School District issued an alert to parents this week advising that at approximately 2 p.m on Monday, April 5, a female student was walking on Vanderbilt Avenue near Oakland Avenue when a man with brown skin walked towards her, though she was unaware.
