The Thanksgiving Eve incident happened early Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22 on the Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls, New York. Niagara Falls Police say  Kurt Villani, and his wife, Monica Villani, both age 53, died in the vehicle explosion which led to a federal investigation. Border Patrol Agents Nab Man Convicted Of Rape On Long Island A Mexican national convicted of raping a young girl on Long Island was busted by border patrol agents attempting to illegally re-enter the country. US Customs and Border Patrol agents in Arizona announced that they took Juan Olarte-Cruz into custody at approximately 11 p.m. on Dec. 10 approximately 20 miles north of the Mexican border. Olarte-Cruz, 42, was convicted of second-degree rape in Nassau County in 2008. At the time of his conviction, he was living in Westbury, where the allegations of rape were raised.
