Residents in Oceanside and Rockville Centre reported that they recovered clear plastic bags containing multiple flyers at about 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, the Nassau County Police Department reported. NCPD said the bags were found on lawns of homes throughout both neighborhoods. Man Critically Injured In Southern State Parkway Crash Involving Drunk Driver, Police Say A man was hospitalized in critical condition after a two-car crash involving a drunk driver on the Southern State Parkway on Saturday night, May 4, state police said. The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on the westbound side at Exit 41N, in Islip.  Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Honda Accord with two occupants and a 2011 Toyota Prius, also with two occupants, collided in the right lane, state police said.
