Here's Lineup For New Long Island Drive-In Concert Series Get ready to get your groove on when a new type of free summer concert series hits Long Island. A first-ever "drive-in" concert series in Nassau County was announced by Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino who said the town was excited to host the events. The concerts, which are all free and open to residents only, will be held in the parking lot of Tobay Beach, Saladino said. New Long Island Memorial Honors Victims Of 9/11 Illness A memorial to honor the victims of 9/11-related illness is now open to the public at a popular beach on Long Island.  The town of Oyster Bay unveiled the new 9/11 Walls of Honor in memory of residents tho died from 9/11-related cancer and illnesses to its Sept. 11 memorial at Tobay Beach in Massapequa. The town held an unveiling ceremony Thursday, Sept. 5 which was attended by 600 people, including family and friends of victims whose names inscribed on the Walls of Honor were read aloud. Video: Shark Caught Off Long Island Sound A man out for a little nighttime fishing on the Long Island Sound hooked a brown shark instead. Fisherman John Skinner, of Greenport, was fishing Saturday, Aug. 24, in Southold for bluefish when he hooked a large brown shark up against some rocks. A YouTube video shows the shark and the entire 20 minute battle with the fish. Because the brown shark is prohibited in New York, he immediately released it.  There have been a number of shark sightings in the area over the summer, including in Penniman Creek in Quogue, in Jamesport, and on Tobay Beach.  Skinner said on the video…
