Man Fatally Struck By Teen Driver On Long Island A person was killed after being struck by a car driven by a teen driver on Long Island. The incident happened around 11:05 p.m. Thursday, May 11 in Massapequa. The victim was a 42-year-old man who was crossing from the north to the south side of Merrick Road (near Carman Mill Road) at approximately 11:05 p.m., Nassau County Police said. The identity of the victim has not yet been released. He was hit by a 19-year-old man traveling eastbound on Merrick Road in a 2015 BMW.
