16-Year-Old Suspect Nabbed After Attempted Robbery At Chase Bank In Suffolk A teenage suspect has been charged after an attempted robbery at a Long Island bank early this year. It happened at the Chase Bank on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) in West Babylon at about 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. On Thursday, Sept. 17, Suffolk County Police announced a 16-year-old boy from Brooklyn was arrested and charged with third-degree attempted robbery. Suspect At Large After Attempted Robbery At Chase Bank In Suffolk A suspect is on the loose after an attempted robbery at a Long Island bank. It happened at the Chase Bank on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) in West Babylon at about 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. The suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk County Police said.  The teller did not comply with the man’s demands and the suspect fled the bank, police said.
