ID Released For Man Found Dead On Side Of Wyandanch Road With Shot In Head Police have identified a man who was found dead on the side of a roadway in Wyandanch, shot in the head. Terrance L. Mitchell, 40, of Flatbush, Brooklyn, was found dead by a sanitation worker on the side of Spruce Street, south of Jefferson Avenue, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Thursday, May 30, Suffolk County Police said. Homicide Squad detectives said Mitchell was shot in the head and it is possible he was killed in an unknown location before being transported and left on the side of the road. Man Found Dead Along Roadside In Wyandanch Was 'Victim Of Violence,' Police Say A man found dead on the side of a roadway in Wyandanch was a victim of violence and suffered from head trauma, according to the Suffolk County Police. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the death of the man who was found dead by a sanitation worker on the side of Spruce Street, south of Jefferson Avenue, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Thursday, May 30, the department said.
