Violent Carjacking: Trio Robs, Stabs Man On Long Island, Police Say Three young women were arrested after they allegedly robbed a man on Long Island, stabbing him before taking off in his car. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Valley Stream, according to Nassau County Police. It was about 10 p.m. when a trio of girls — one of which was underage — approached a 37-year-old man at the Shell Station located at 100 West Merrick Road. Suspect On Loose After Stealing Mercedes While Owner Pumps Gas On Long Island Police on Long Island are searching for a man who allegedly stole a 2022 Mercedes-Benz while the owner was pumping gas. The incident occurred in Westbury around 8:50 a.m., Sunday,  Jan. 8 at the Shell Station at 865 Carman Ave. According to Nassau County Police detectives, a 43-year-old man was fueling up his Mercedes when a  Black man who got out of a nearby Audi, jumped in the driver's seat and stole the car, ripping off the gas pump nozzle as he drove away.
