Suspect Charged After Man Seriously Injured In Suffolk Hit-Run Crash A suspect has been charged after a hit-and-run driver left a man hospitalized in serious condition when he was struck at a busy Long Island intersection, police said. Officers from the Suffolk County Police Department responded to the intersection of Portion Road and North Morris Avenue in Farmingville at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, where there was a report of an injured pedestrian.
