Popular National Chicken Chain's First NY Restaurant Will Be On Long Island The popular chicken chain PDQ is coming to Long Island. PDQ, which stands for People Dedicated to Quality, will open its first New York restaurant on Sunday, July 21 in Farmingdale. The menu features hand-breaded chicken tenders, signature homemade sauces and dressings, and made-to-order sandwiches like the Honey Butter and Cali Club. There are also hand-spun milkshakes and salads. The menu is chef-driven with "mindful ingredients" but with the convenience of a fast-food restaurant, according to the company.
