Teen Used Social Media To Lure Teen Victim In Knifepoint Long Island Robbery, Police Say An in-person meet-up arranged through social media led to a 20-year-old man robbing his teenage victim with a knife on Long Island, police said. According to police, an 18-year-old man used an online app to arrange a meeting with Elmont resident Rocco Franklyn at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 for undisclosed reasons. Police said that when the victim arrived on Carline Avenue, Franklyn entered the passenger side door, and once in the car, displayed a knife that he pressed against the teen’s neck.
