Teen Charged With Making Terroristic Threat At LI High School, Police Say A teenager is facing charges on Long Island after allegedly making a threat toward his high school, police announced. Man Found Dead In Storm Basin Near Long Island Expressway A man was found inside a vehicle submerged in water in a storm basin on Long Island. The 73-year-old man was found by a police diver around 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Old Westbury, said the Nassau County Police. Duo Nabbed For String Of Car Burglaries, Other Crimes On Long Island, Police Say Two area men were arrested for alleged multiple crimes, including stealing credit cards out of vehicles and using them to make illegal purchases on Long Island. Kevin Alvarado, 23, of Queens, and Jonathan Millan, 19, of Jackson Heights, were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 10, by the Garden City Police Department in conjunction with the Old Westbury Police Department and the Nassau County Electronics Squad.
