Man In Critical Condition Following Long Island Crash
A man who was hit by a car while crossing a Long Island street is now in critical condition, police said. It happened on Wednesday, Jan 10 in North Long Beach, according to Nassau County Police. Just before 9:10 p.m., a 59-year-old man was reportedly crossing Austin Boulevard near the intersection of Florida Avenue when he was hit by a 2012 Honda Accord. An employee at a Long Island gas station was arrested after allegedly printing out tens of thousands worth of New York Lottery tickets without authorization or paying, police said. According to Nassau County police detectives, the owner of the Liberty Gas Station on Austin Boulevard in North Long Beach was notified by a NYS Lottery investigator regarding a discrepancy in lotto ticket sales.
