Long Island Man Attacks Two Cops Attempting To Arrest Him After Assault, Police Say
A 46-year-old Long Island man was arrested following a domestic dispute in which he allegedly attacked two police officers, sending both to the hospital. Nassau County Police said the incident took place around 10 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, in Westbury when officers responded to a report of an assault. According to detectives, when officers arrived at a home on Gordon Avenue for a domestic dispute, they spoke with a 49-year-old woman who had allegedly been assaulted by Miguel Jimenez, of Westbury.
