The accident happened on Saturday, July 13 in Ridge. Efran Veliz-Alverado was in a work vehicle at RFC Residential Fences Corp., located at 1775 Middle Country Road, and began backing the vehicle into a parking spot when Mark Craparo walked into the yard and was struck by the truck at 10:45 a.m., Suffolk County Police said.
