Man Found Dead Behind Building In Brentwood An investigation is underway after a man was found dead on Long Island. The discovery was made behind a building in Brentwood, located at 345 Washington Ave., just after noon on Wednesday, April 3. The preliminary investigation and exam were inconclusive regarding the cause of death, Suffolk County Police said. The identity of the man and a cause of death will be determined by an autopsy by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office. Man Found Dead Along Shoreline On Long Island Beach Police are investigating after finding an unidentified man dead along the shoreline of a Long Island beach. The unconscious man was found around 7:24 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, in Atlantic Beach, said Nassau County Police. Two Killed In Fiery Long Island Expressway Crash Two people were killed in a fiery crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened Thursday, Aug. 6 around 3 p.m. in New Hyde Park. A pickup truck traveling on the westbound side of the expressway struck the rear end of a tractor-trailer in the vicinity of Exit 34, Nassau County Police said.   The pickup then burst into flames, causing entrapment of the two passengers, who both sustained fatal injuries, according to police. New Info Released After Woman Found Dead On Long Beach Shoreline A woman who was found dead along the Long Beach shoreline has been identified, but police are not releasing her name at the family's request. The woman, in her 40s or 50s, was found face down in Long Beach just before dawn by a jogger around 5:23 a.m., Friday, June 21, on the beach between Monroe and Lincoln boulevards, said Sgt.
