It happened on Sunday, May 12 in Freeport, according to Nassau County Police. Just after 2:30 a.m. that morning, authorities were alerted by Shot Spotter of a shooting that had occurred in the area of Main Street and Leonard Avenue. Shortly after, a nearby officer noticed a grey 2008 Honda CRV with dark-tinted windows racing away from the scene of the shooting.
