Man Trapped In Hole Airlifted To Hospital A man has been airlifted to an area hospital after being trapped in a hole on Long Island. The incident took place around 9:20 a.m., Monday, Feb. 3, on Longwood Road in Sands Point. Nassau County police said the man was rescued and is being airlifted to the hospital.
