Teenager Dies From Injuries After Being Struck By SUV On Long Island
Updated story: Long Beach HS Athlete Killed In Crash Remembered As 'Wonderful Student, Talented Athlete' A teenager has died from injuries he suffered after being struck by an SUV on Long Island. The incident happened in Hicksville around 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12. The victim, an 18-year-old, was riding his skateboard westbound on Cantiague Lane near Robbins Lane when he was struck by a 19-year-old driving a 2012 Honda Pilot, also traveling westbound, Nassau County Police said.
