Special Delivery: Suffolk County Police Officers Help Commack Woman Give Birth Police officers helped deliver a Commack mother's baby overnight. Three officers responded to a 911 call from  Thomas Geness of his wife giving birth at their home on Lafayette Avenue at 3:15 a.m. Friday, July 19, according to Suffolk County Police. The officers arrived and assisted Christine Geness, the full term expectant mother, who gave birth to a baby girl at approximately 3:23 a.m., according to police.
