Kevin Lopez-Morales, age 23, of Roosevelt, was sentenced on Tuesday, Aug. 31, to 24 years to life in prison, Acting Nassau County District Attorney Joyce Smith announced. Carlos Alfaro, 22, of Roosevelt, will be arraigned Wednesday, Feb. 19,  with two counts of second-degree murder, said the Nassau County Police.
