Man, 22, Charged For Homicide Of 16-Year-Old On Long Island A Long Island man has been charged in connection with the homicide of a 16-year-old that occurred earlier this year. Nassau County Police said 22-year-old Sharayda Washington of West Hempstead was arrested Wednesday morning, Dec. 4 at the Nassau County Jail in East Meadow where he was being held on unrelated charges. According to detectives, on Wednesday, March 13, officers from the Hempstead Police Department responded to a call for two male gunshot victims, both 16, in the rear parking area of 40 West Columbia Street.  Both victims were transported to an area hospital…
