14-Year-Old Bicyclist Critically Injured After Getting Hit By Pickup Truck In Moriches A Long Island teenager was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a pickup truck in Suffolk County, police said. Stephanie Pesantez, 14, was riding her bike on Beaver Spur in Moriches shortly after 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, when she entered the northbound lane of Jerusalem Hollow Road. When crossing the road, police said that Pesantez, of Moriches, was struck by a 2013 Ford F-150, which was driven by Jason Demme. Pesantez was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue and later transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition. Dem…
