Wrong-Way Suffolk Driver Charged With DWI
A motorist has been charged with DWI after police say he drove the wrong way on a Long Island highway. Suffolk County Police allegedly observed a man driving a 2014 Dodge Dart in the westbound lanes of Route 109 in West Babylon on Thursday, Oct. 31 around 12:45 a.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop after confirming that the man had allegedly driven the vehicle approximately one mile in the wrong direction and passed at least three other vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.
