Duo Nabbed For Series Of Long Island Burglaries, Including At Local School, Police Say Two Long Island men have been arrested for a series of burglaries, including at several schools. Gem Hattat, age 27, of Lindenhurst, and Jarrett Boyarsky, also age 27, of Westbury, were arrested by Nassau County Police on Monday, June 21 in Carle Place. According to detectives, officers responded to Rushmore Elementary School located at 251 Rushmore Avenue for an alarm.   Upon arrival, officers began walking through the building to investigate additional interior alarms.
