Good Samaritan Stops Woman Accused In Hit-Run With School Bus In Mastic, Police Say A Good Samaritan apprehended a woman who allegedly was involved in a hit-and-run with a school bus in Mastic on Friday morning, July 12. Luz Maria Fuentes was driving a 2004 Toyota Siena on Mastic Road, near Mastic Boulevard, when her vehicle allegedly struck the rear of a mini school bus with three children and two adults on board at approximately 7:45 a.m.,  Suffolk County Police said. Fuentes fled and, a short time later, her vehicle struck a trailer that was attached to a pickup truck traveling on Mastic Road and fled, according to police.
