Nassau County Police say that on Friday, Oct. 8 at 5:25 p.m., a Fourth Precinct Police Officer on patrol in Inwood observed a crash eastbound at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Bayswater boulevard.  The crash involved a blue 2006 BMW four-door sedan, which struck a 2003 Chevrolet SUV from behind, according to police. The unconscious man was found around 7:24 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, in Atlantic Beach, said Nassau County Police. The single-vehicle crash took place around 11:10 a.m., Monday, March 2, on Sheridan Boulevard, in Inwood, said the Nassau County Police. The crash dumped cement and fluids on the roadway, causing a call to hazmat officials and the Inwood Fire Department who worked to clear the roadway. The roadway reopened around 12:30 p.m., police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
