Police Investigation String Of Burglaries At Suffolk County Businesses Police detectives are investigating a string of overnight burglaries that occurred at Long Island businesses. The burglaries happened from Thursday, Sept. 23 to Thursday, Oct. 7 in Suffolk County. During the "smash-and-grab" burglaries, a man breaks a window or glass door, enters the business, and steals cash, said police.  Suffolk County Police say they occurred at the following locations: Lemon Tree, located at 411 Furrows Road in Holbrook, on Sept. 23 between 3:30 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. Cafe Timboo, located at 905 West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown, on Sept. 29 between 1:55 a.m.…
