IDs Released For Two Teens Killed After BMW Overturns In Long Island Crash
The identities have been released of two teenagers who were killed in a horrific crash on Long Island. It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 in West Hempstead. An 18-year-old female was driving a 2018 BMW X3 northbound on Westminster Road in the vicinity of Fairlawn Avenue before striking a parked vehicle, Nassau County Police said. As a result of the collision, a 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl suffered severe trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Suffolk County Deli Forced To Close After SLA Inspection
A Long Island deli was forced to close after an inspection led by the State Liquor Authority. The inspection was conducted at M&B Deli and Grocery on Broadway in Amityville on Friday, March 5 at around 8:40 p.m. The Town of Babylon Quality of Life Task Force issued 15 summons for combined building, fire, and code violations to the owner/manager. 11-Year-Old Girl Killed In Fatal Police Chase Crash Involving Queens Man
An 11-year-old girl who was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a police pursuit was killed when the car crashed in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 11:40 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, in Ulster County when New York State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Ulster for a vehicle and traffic violation, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Alleged Serial Rapist Charged In Three Separate Long Island Attacks
An alleged serial rapist is facing charges for allegedly assault three women in three separate attacks between 2015 and 2020. Queens resident Adell Hardwick, of Hollis, was arraigned on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and charged two counts of predatory sexual assault, three counts of rape, and three counts of criminal sexual act. One Killed, Three Injured When Motorcyclist Crashes Into Car On Northern State Parkway
A 41-year-old man is dead and three others injured after a motorcycle crashed into a car overnight on the Northern State Parkway, state police said. The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 on the westbound parkway, just west of exit 32 in the town of North Hempstead. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2018 Ducati motorcycle was traveling westbound on the Northern State Parkway at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear of a 2015 Acura which was also traveling westbound, according to state police.
