Four Teens Nabbed For Break-In At School In Shirley, Scrawling Graffiti, Police Say This story has been updated. Four teenagers were charged following a break-in at a Long Island elementary school. The Suffolk County Police Department announced the arrests of 19-year-old Salvatore Davis, of Mastic Beach, along with an unnamed 16-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy, who are both residents of Shirley, on Thursday, Nov. 17. They all were charged by Hate Crimes Unit detectives with third-degree burglary, SCPD said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the four males who burglarized and made graffiti at a Shirley school in September. Four males entered Hobart S. Elementary School, located at 230 Van Buren St., on Monday, Sept. 26 at 9:45 a.m. and drew graffiti on cabinets and a whiteboard in a classroom.
