Here's How Many Volunteers Are Working This Week's PGA Championship At Bethpage Thousands of men and women of all size, shapes and ages are busy this week working long hours as the championship rounds start at the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black. In total, approximately 3,600 volunteers will work various jobs at the course, while the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson hit the links and vie for the second major of the season. With the PGA Championship heading to Bethpage Black in Farmingdale from Monday, May 13, through Sunday, May 19, some tickets are still available for both the practice rounds (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and championship rounds (Thursday and Friday).
