Drunk Pickup Truck Driver With Child In Car Crashes Into Jeep In Huntington, Police Say
The drunk motorist who was driving in a pickup truck with a child aboard crashed into a Jeep, injuring two in Huntington, Suffolk County Police say. Gene Hamid was driving a 1994 Dodge Dakota northbound on Clinton Avenue with his 13-year-old nephew inside when the vehicle crashed into a 2019 Jeep Cherokee traveling eastbound on Gerard Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. Friday, July 5, said police.
