The incident happened on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Uniondale, according to Nassau County Police. Man Who Refused To Leave Long Island Bar Punches Responding Officer, Police Say A 31-year-old man who refused to leave a bar after reportedly causing a disturbance punched a responding officer after being placed under arrest, Nassau County Police said. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 in Uniondale. Police were called to the Frontera Bar located at 963 Nassau Road and upon arrival were told by security staff that Luis Meza, 31, of Freeport had caused a disturbance and would not vacate the premises, police said.
