Hauppauge High School Teacher Accused Of Sexually Abusing Boy A 53-year-old Long Island high school teacher has been charged with sexually abusing a student when the teen was 16 years old, Suffolk County Police announced Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 14. The alleged victim, now 18, reported to detectives that when he was a 16-year-old student at Hauppauge High School, he was sexually abused by his chorus teacher, Mark Kimes, at the teacher’s home in Moriches.
