Copiague Man Crashes Into Cruiser While Resisting Arrest, Police Say A 33-year-old Long Island man was charged after authorities said he crashed into a police vehicle while resisting arrest on drug charges. Sean Crombie, of Copiague, was arrested following a fatal overdose investigation that occurred on Saturday, Dec. 25, in East Meadow, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Two Suffolk County Men Arrested In Connection With Overdose Death, Police Say Two Long Island men have been arrested in connection with an overdose death. Suffolk County Man Convicted Of Selling Fentanyl In Fatal Overdose Case A Long Island man has been found guilty by a jury of selling fentanyl in connection with a fatal overdose. Austin Hunter, 43, of Amityville, was convicted on Monday, Nov. 9, in connection with the April 2019 fatal overdose in Lindenhurst, said Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy D. Sini.
