Long Island Convenience Store Armed Robbery Suspect Nabbed A wanted man who was implicated in an armed robbery at a Long Island convenience store has been apprehended, police said. According to Nassau County Police investigators, at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, a man entered the Fast Break convenience store on Merrick Avenue in Merrick with a handgun. It is alleged that the man - later identified as Valley Stream resident Rahtae Wilson, 31 - entered the store and pointed a handgun at the store clerk, ordering him behind the counter, demanding cash.
