New Update: West Islip Woman Falsely Reports Men With Guns Inside Home, Police Say A Long Island woman is due in court after being accused of falsely reporting men with guns were inside her home. At around 2:20 p.m. Friday, June 16, Suffolk County Police received a 911 call from the Gladstone Avenue resident who called from a neighbor’s house. Charles Tyler, age 51, undomiciled, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 7, for the incident which allegedly took place in September 2021 in Suffolk County in Riverhead, said the Riverhead Police.
