New Update: West Islip Woman Falsely Reports Men With Guns Inside Home, Police Say A Long Island woman is due in court after being accused of falsely reporting men with guns were inside her home. At around 2:20 p.m. Friday, June 16, Suffolk County Police received a 911 call from the Gladstone Avenue resident who called from a neighbor’s house. Suffolk County Man Accused Of Filing False Police Report A Long Island man was arrested after he allegedly lied to police about being attacked and robbed. Charles Tyler, age 51, undomiciled, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 7, for the incident which allegedly took place in September 2021 in Suffolk County in Riverhead, said the Riverhead Police.
