Man Crossing Long Island Roadway Critically Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle Police are investigating a crash in which a man crossing a Long Island roadway was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle. It happened around 2:15 p.m. Friday, April 15 in Hempstead.
