Man Nabbed For Threatening To 'Shoot Up' Business In Region, Police Say Customers were running from a Westchester business after a man allegedly pulled out a knife and began saying he would "shoot up the place." The incident took place in the village of Mamaroneck around 3 p.m. on Monday, May 30. Officers responded to the business after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a man brandishing a knife inside of a local business with patrons running from the scene, said Lt. Suspect Nabbed After Robbery At Suffolk Stop & Shop A suspect has been apprehended after a robbery at a Long Island Stop & Shop earlier this week. It happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22. A man approached the pharmacy counter inside of the  Stop & Shop in East Northport, located at 454 Fort Salonga Road, and handed an employee a note indicating he had a weapon and demanded a prescription medication, Suffolk County Police said.  The employee complied with the demand and the man fled the store on foot, said police.
