Teen Critically Injured, Two Others Wounded, In Long Island Shooting Police on Long Island are investigating an assault that left three people with gunshot wounds, with one in critical condition. The incident took place around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in Baldwin, said the Nassau County Police. According to detectives, First Precinct officers responded to the intersection of Edna Court and Haig Street for a call for shots fired.  When they arrived on the scene officers located a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to his torso, police said.
