A man has died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened on Thursday, Dec. 10 at around 5:50 p.m. in Massapequa. The 55-year-old man was attempting to cross from the west side of Broadway to the east side near the intersection of Grand Avenue, when a 2020 black Honda CRV traveling northbound on Broadway struck him, Nassau County Police said. A 28-year-old man was critically injured when the motorcyclist he was operating struck two Lexuses in separate crashes at a busy Long Island intersection. It happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20 in Massapequa. Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Hit On Sidewalk In Chain-Reaction Long Island Crash
A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit on the sidewalk in a chain-reaction crash on Long Island. It happened on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 1:40 p.m. in Massapequa. According to Nassau County Police detectives, while walking on the sidewalk of Ontario Avenue at Broadway, the 47-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a Volkswagen sedan traveling south on Broadway.
