Three suspects are at large after making off with thousands of dollars worth of gold and cash during a robbery at a Long Island coin show, police said.
Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating the theft of cash, valuables, and gold from a vendor at the Melville Coin, Stamp, and Collectible Show that took place on Broadhollow Road on Sunday, April 10.
According to the Suffolk County Police Department, a vendor left a box containing cash and collectible coins, and gold bars with an acquaintance while packing up at approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Man Killed After Being Struck By Car On Busy Suffolk County Roadway
A man was killed after being struck by a car on a busy Long Island roadway.
The incident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in Melville.
Sophia Mukhtarzada, 22, of Farmingdale, was driving a 2010 Honda Civic southbound on Broadhollow Road, south of the Long Island Expressway when the vehicle struck the man in the roadway, Suffolk County Police said.
The victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Mukhtarzada was not injured, said police.

A midday car fire outside a Long Island hotel rapidly spread to many other vehicles, destroying at least 25 of them.
Members of the Melville Volunteer Fire Department responded at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, to the Huntington Hilton on Broadhollow Road, where there was a reported car fire.
Upon arrival, Fire Chief David Kaplan said crews found multiple cars burning in the middle of a storage lot of approximately 1,000 Uber vehicles.

Three Charged In Connection To 7-Eleven Robbery Spree In Suffolk
Three people were nabbed for allegedly conducting a string of 7-Eleven robberies that spanned five months throughout Suffolk County.
Akeel Swazey, 36, address unknown; Audra Litwin, 33, of Babylon, and William Jackson, 39, of Amityville, were arrested on Thursday, May 23, following an investigation by the Major Case Section into the six robberies that took place in March and May, said the Suffolk County Police.
Swazey was also charged for an addition robbery that took place in December of last year, police said.
