Officers were able to track down a suspect who allegedly broke into a Long Island bagel store and stole cash from a pair of registers in the middle of the night, police said. A man allegedly entered Bagel Boss on Old Country Road in Carle Place at approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, Nassau County Police said. He then walked to the front of the store and removed two cash register drawers that contained an undisclosed amount of cash, said police.
