Homicide Investigation Launched After Woman Found Dead In Long Island Home A homicide investigation has been launched after a 27-year-old woman was found dead inside a Long Island home, police said. According to Nassau County Police detectives, officers responded to the home in South Farmingdale on 1st Avenue on a report of a female not breathing on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15. Upon arrival, officers located the body and it was determined that the death had occurred at the scene.
