Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana has plans to open in the Sunshine State, a Trinity Commercial Group representative confirmed to the news outlet. “We have no immediate plans to search in SW Florida for Frank Pepe’s but we have signed some leases in Southeast Florida and continue to actively search on this [east] coast,” the group emailed Naples Florida Weekly.  The pizzeria chain currently …

Covid-19: Report Reveals Where Wealthy NYC Residents Moved To During Pandemic A review of mail-forwarding requests is revealing where New York City residents moved to after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak began. The United States Post Office received double the monthly average of mail-forwarding requests from New York City in March with 56,000, with that number increasing to 81,000 in April, according to The New York Times.  Most of those who moved out of the city were from the wealthiest zip codes in Manhattan, with half of the mail-forwarding requests in April from the Upper East and Upper West sides. Long Island Teen Sentenced For Fatal Christmas Day Shooting A Long Island teenager linked to the Bloods street gang will spend decades behind bars for the fatal 2017 Christmas Day shooting of a man who was walking to pick up his daughter at a train station. Hempstead resident Antoine Foster, 19, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas announced. He pleaded guilty last October to first-degree manslaughter, a violent felony. Memorial Planned For West Islip's George Holmes, Capitol Hill Photographer, Painter A West Islip native who served in the United States Air Force then became a Capitol Hill photographer and Civil War painter will be remembered this week in a memorial service. George R. Holmes died on Aug. 27, 2018, at age 85 in Alexandria, Va. His service is Friday, June 7 at 11:30 a.m. at Long Island National Cemetery. He was born on Sept. 13, 1932. After serving his country, Holmes made Washington D.C., his home, where he worked as a photographer on Capitol Hill.  He had a driving ambition to paint and draw and studied at The American University as an art major.  He …
